Purchasing a Kitten from us

Find answers to common questions about adopting a Maine Coon kitten from Monns Maine Coons Cattery, including care tips and procedures.

When our kittens are born we will get in contact with people on our waitlist first, at which time we give one person the option to place a non refundable deposit and on the pick of males and one person the pick of females. After 4 weeks, we will reach out to the people on our waitlist to give the oppurtunity to place a deposit on the remaining available kittens. We send updated pictures weekly and also try to keep pictures up to date on our social media platforms. At 8 and 12 weeks our kittens get vaccinated and then they can go home to their new families.

Maine Coons are a very high maintenance and expensive breed to maintain. It is important to feed Maine Coons high quality food and keep their coats brushed out. They will need regular sanitary trims as well.

Absolutely! We stand by the health of our kittens 100%. If for any reason they didnt pass their vet health checks we would transfer your deposit to another litter. We also have a one year health guarantee from hereditary diseases.

*We are happy to test your kitten for hereditary diseases with Optimal Selection prior to them leaving. This would be at the expense of the buyer and would need paid prior to the test being ordered.*
